People often ask how I got into this kind of work, and the honest answer is—it’s always been in me. I’ve always been drawn to the hard conversations, the messy moments, the spaces where people need someone to just show up and be real.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Youth and Family Ministry and over twenty years of hands-on experience working in mental health and support-based settings. I’ve worked in residential programs, community mental health agencies, and traditional office spaces, walking alongside people in some of their most difficult moments. That time taught me a lot—but mostly, it taught me that healing rarely fits into a box.
I’m not a licensed therapist, and that’s by design. What I offer is something different: real, honest coaching grounded in experience, not just theory. I’ve helped individuals, couples, and families find clarity in chaos and connection in conflict—always with a focus on meeting people where they are, both emotionally and physically.
And truthfully, this work became personal for me the moment I became a dad. Parenthood cracked something open in me—it shifted how I see struggle, how I listen, and how deeply I care about showing up for others. Authentic Advice was born from that place: the desire to give people the kind of support I’d want for my own kids if they ever needed it. That’s why I do this. That’s why it matters.
Real talk. Real results. It’s not just a tagline—it’s how I work. It’s what you can expect when you and I sit down together.
